Jekaterina Krištal, PhD

Jekaterina began her scientific career at TalTech, where she studied the toxicity of Alzheimer's disease-related amyloid beta peptide in human cellular models. She also gained experience in quality management systems at the cell therapy company Cellin Technologies Ltd. Recently, Jekaterina completed her postdoctoral project at the University of Helsinki in Associate Professor Almeida-Souza's cell biology laboratory, where she studied regulators of exocytosis and cell-substrate adhesion.
